Gucci will halve its runway presence in response to COVID-19 and will maintain only two trend reveals per year instead of five, when modifications take effect, the brand lately announced on Instagram. It will completely merge men’s and women’s collections into one gender fluid presentation. It is the 1st luxury brand to formally dedicate to a two reveals per year program.
In a collection of diary entries titled ‘Notes from the Silence’ posted on the brand’s innovative director Alessandro Michele’s Instagram account, the designer said he supposed to “abandon the worn-out ritual of seasonalities and reveals” in purchase to “get back a new cadence.”
