A Queens male doing the job at a star-studded Plaza Lodge Fashion Week bash is suing simply because he hurt himself on “defective” red carpet pole, according to a new lawsuit.
Omar Elnewishy was taking care of the VIP section of Harper Bazaar’s glamorous ICONS get together — attended by the likes of actress Awkwafina, supermodel Emily Ratajkowski and singer Alicia Keys — on Sept. six, when he was taken down by the stylish established-up, according to the lawsuit, submitted this 7 days in New York Supreme Courtroom.
Champagne-fueled party — thrown to rejoice actors and musicians who “aren’t worried to break the rules” — showcased a carpet section wherever superstars produced stylish arrivals.
But the poles roping off the space had been allegedly improperly managed, creating a “safety threat” that triggered Elnewishy to experience “serious injuries,” according to the lawsuit.
