An incredible collection of exceptional pictures of Stansted airfield all through the 2nd Globe War has captivated villagers.
The beautiful photographs reworked into color have been presented to Jeremy Goldsmith, owner of Mountfitchet Castle, by a fellow war enthusiast, who uncovered them between his archives.
