Marathon legend Ben Smith to launch mental health charity Mind’s regional sports hub in Hertfordshire

Marathon man Ben Smith, best identified for finishing 401 marathons in 401 times, is to launch the Thoughts East Regional Hub for Activity and Physical Action.

Based mostly at the College of Hertfordshire, the hub is a joint initiative among nationwide mental health and fitness charity Thoughts and the Herts Athletics and Physical Action Partnership (HSP).

Its intention is to boost the positive aspects of bodily activity on mental health and fitness, these as encouraging to build friendships, increase assurance and self-esteem, and establish resilience.
