It is 2020, the surgical look is in.
Twitter users are mocking a focused ad from Nordstrom that features a pair of $740 satin elbow-length gloves paired with an night robe.
The extras, dubbed the “Gloved Double Satin Bolero,” are designed by the high-close designer Meryll Rogge.
“Saturated in a head-turning crimson hue, this double-satin bolero equipped with lambskin-leather-based gloves evokes the golden period of Hollywood,” the item’s description reads.
“I retain finding this ad, It would not faze me if it were being from like, Wish, but Nordstrom?,” joked tweeter @lynnirene. “I am just so, so puzzled.”
The blue costume worn with the gloves also turned heads.
“What’s with the $740 murder costume @Nordstrom? Odd ad concentrating on,” said @_RogueMermaid.
“every solitary day of 2020 is a competitiveness for ‘worst s–t ive at any time witnessed in my life’ and this costume just took initial position,” said @macaroon1.
“Is it just me or does the product in this nordstrom ad look a little like she’s just designed a male in 7 times and she’s completely ready to show him off to the transylvanian convention,” joked @emilydohrk, referencing “The Rocky Horror Photo Show.”
“The points I’m finding focused @Nordstrom adverts for… why,” wondered @klogs493.
It is not the initial time a Nordstrom merchandise has garnered on the web discussion. In September, the retailer prompted ridicule for offering $1,400 grass-stained overalls designed by Gucci.
