The picture depicts the 53-calendar year-old putting on a blonde wig and makeup in a place with two law enforcement officers.
It is thought the snap was taken from outdoors the job interview place and is not from the official job interview procedure.
Laidley’s lawyer, Dee Giannopolous from Doogue and George, blasted the publication of the picture on Twitter.
“Outraged that images of my client, taken by some law enforcement officer, on the sly, when in custody in job interview have hit the media. Regular,” she wrote.
Lawyer Bill Doogue additional: “Disgraceful. Having pics unlawfully and sharing them. And these ended up sneaky pics when in Police job interview in Police Station by a Police Officer.”
“Police should really investigate and those included pull down instantly.”
Victoria Police Main Senior Constable Adam West confirmed Specialist Benchmarks Command has been notified of the issue.
“At this phase it would be inappropriate to comment more,” he claimed.
Specialist Benchmarks Command investigates allegations of wrongdoing in just the pressure.
The Herald Sunshine sought comment from Ms Giannopolous and the law company.
Victoria’s leading civil liberties advocate also blasted the leaked photos of Laidley in a collection of tweets.
“The visuals circulating of a higher-profile arrest currently are deplorable breach of privacy,” Liberty Victoria tweeted.
“The transphobic overtones only provide to make the breach even much more egregious.
“Not superior adequate @VictoriaPolice: we are watching,” the council wrote.
“Please deal with this unacceptable incident quickly & adequately. “
The probable probe comes as the previous premiership-profitable player stays in law enforcement custody, charged with stalking, immediately after being arrested outdoors a house in St Kilda on Saturday night.
Police confirmed he was charged with stalking and other offences.
He fronted the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Sunday and was remanded to surface at the exact same courtroom on May 11.
Victoria Police would not present more information into his alleged crimes.

Laidley’s six-and-a-50 percent calendar year coaching stint at the Kangaroos ended with him resigning during the 2009 time.
