BFC reopens applications for coronavirus fund

The BFC Foundation Covid Crisis Fund was established in March to assistance innovative style firms and individuals to survive the Covid-19 crisis.

In whole, 37 British designer firms have so far been given grants and mentoring from the first £1m emergency funding. A portion of money was also allocated to college students.

The BFC has now raised a further more £500,000 following donations from firms which include Alexander McQueen, Amazon Style, Browns, The Mentor Foundation, John Lewis & Associates and Asos. It has for that reason reopened applications and will continue on to do so each individual time it reaches the £500,000 fundraising milestone.

The deadline for this round of applications is seven August.
